One Bag: Dirty LaundryEvan Travers
Having just come back from the beach, I found the following link interesting. For years I’ve been taking a second empty packing cube on trips. As clothes get dirty, they move into the second packing cube. when I get home I throw the contents and cube into the laundry.
I am not surprised to learn that Tom Bihn, king of one bag travel, has an interesting solution: a double sided stuff sack dubbed the Travel Laundry Stuff Sack. It has a movable divider that depletes as you put on clean clothes, making the perfect amount of room for your dirty laundry on the other side. Clever.
I may give this a whirl… especially with Eagle Creek sliding into oblivion.
Update: My wonderful wife bought me one of these for Christmas… I’ve already had a chance to use it on the return trip, and am giving away a couple packers it replaces. It’s great!
